Buy twice as much pie filling as needed. In a colander, rinse off the one can so only cherries remain. Combine with entire second can. Add about 1 Tbsp. lemon zest and 1 tsp. almond extract. You'll swear it's not from a can! This is my grown son's favorite dessert of all. Enjoy.
