Creamy Baked Chocolate Cheesecake - Lowfat Adapted from Borden Foods Corp. Servings: 8 Crust: 1 1/2 cups lowfat graham crackers 1/4 cup reduced-calorie margarine, melted 3 tbsp granulated sugar Filling: 16 oz fat-free cream cheese, softened 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk, chocolate flavored 6 whole egg whites, slightly beaten 3 tbsps cornstarch
To prepare crust, combine crumbs,1/4 cup margarine, and sugar in a mixing bowl. Press mixture firmly in a 9-inch springform pan. Chill one hour, or until firm. Or, bake in a 375 oven for ten minutes or until edges are brown. Cool on rack before filling.
Preheat oven to 300.
To prepare filling, combine cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, egg whites, and cornstarch. Mix well. Pour into crust. Bake for 55 minutes, or until set. Cool and chill until ready to serve.
