Cream Cheese Cookies with Lemon Frosting

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
3 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 egg yolk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup flour
Dash of salt

Cream together sugar, butter, cream cheese, egg yolk, and vanilla.

Mix in flour and salt. Drop on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 10 minutes until golden brown around edges.

Lemon Frosting

1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 stick (1/4 cup) butter, softened
lemon juice, to taste

Combine butter and powdered sugar. Add lemon juice until consistency for spreading.
