Shirley's Nut Cake
1/2 cup milk 2 tsp. vinegar 3 cups flour 2 cups sugar 1 cup butter, melted 1 tsp. soda 4 egg yolks, separated 2 cups nuts, chopped
Combine the milk and vinegar in a mixing bowl; mix in flour, sugar, butter, soda, and egg yolks. Stir in the nuts. Beat egg whites and fold into batter. Stir in the nuts.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes in 2 greased loaf pans or 1 hour in greased tube pan.
Hi Dana, I haven't tried this recipe but would like to hear how it turns out from you or anyone else that tries it.
