Another way to make this is:

Fruit Cocktail Cake

1 box of yellow or white cake mix
1 can fruit cocktail

Pour the can of fruit cocktail with juices in a bowl and mix with the cake mix. You don't need to add anything else to it, just those two ingredients. Pour into prepared pan. You can also sprinkle nuts on top before you bake it if you'd like.

Bake as directed on cake mix box.

When it is hot out of the oven, you can sprinkle with powdered sugar or topping of your choice. This cake is very moist!

I've also tried this using a strawberry cake mix and jar of canned strawberries. You could really make any combination with this!
