Quite a few people use it in making cakes (instead of water or whatever when using a cake mix). I've only used it that way once or twice and it has worked fine.

I also put some in rice pudding I was making a few weeks ago (I had about half a can left in fridge and wanted to use it before it spoiled) - it worked fine.
