Many years ago my Mom use to make a cake she called $25,000 cake it apparently won $25,000 in a Pillsbury Bake-off contest I don't know the year but I am 60 years old and I remember the cake from my teens on..It is a Chocolate Peppermint Cake, I remember she made the icing then took part of it and made the cake batter with it ...the rest was saved for icing the cake, It had peppermint flavoring and baking chocolate squares in it that is about all I can remember..Hope you can help me..Thank you in advance...
