Applesauce Chocolate Chip Cookies

2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup margarine
1 cup light brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup a;;lesauce
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Combine dry ingredients together.

Cream margarine and brown sugar until weel blended.

Beat egg into mixture; add vanilla.

Gradually add dry ingredients to cream mixture and blend; fold in applesauce, chocolate chips and nuts.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets and bake in 375 degree oven for 10 - 12 minutes.
