JAPANESE FRUIT PIE

1 stick (1/2 cup) butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup coconut
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup raisins
1 unbaked pie shell

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Melt butter in a saucepan. Remove from heat, add sugar and eggs and mix together well.

Stir in coconut, pecans, and raisins; mix well. Pour into a unbaked pie shell.

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until crust is golden brown.

This is a very simple recipe and so easy my 10 year old helps make it.

P.S. Very good with a bowl of vanilla ice cream.
