MAPLE SYRUP MUFFINS

1/4 cup milk
1 egg
1 3/4 cups flour
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup butter, melted

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Lightly grease muffin pan cups.

Whip milk into beaten egg, using egg beater.

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Add to egg and milk mixture a little at time, alternating with maple syrup (this is important). Fold in melted butter. Place in prepared muffin cups.

Bake 25 minutes in 325 degree F oven.
