CRUMB CAKE USING CAKE MIX

1 (18 oz) pkg. yellow cake mix with pudding in the mix
FOR THE TOPPING:
1 cup flour
2/3 cup sugar
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, softened
4 tsp cinnamon
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 13x9-inch baking pan.

Prepare cake according to package directions and put in prepared pan.

Bake for 30 minutes; then remove from oven.

WHILE THE CAKE IS BAKING, PREPARE THE TOPPING:
Mix flour, sugar, butter, and cinnamon together in a bowl until mixture is fairly smooth. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Spread on top of cake, then return cake to oven.

Bake remainder of time according to package directions. Remove from oven, and cool in pan.
