I really like this pie. If you could post the apple dumpling recipe with red hots I would be grateful! TIA

Red Cinnamon Apple Pie

Prepare recipe for a double pie crust, or use a purchased double crust.

3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup red hots(Brach's red cinnamon candies)
Simmer all in large saucepan until dissolved.

5 cups peeled sliced apples
3 Tblsp flour
Add apples and flour to candy and cook until thickened. Pour into unbaked pie crust, top with tightly weaved lattice crust. Brush with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Bake at 375 degrees F for 40-45 minutes.
