Had replied much earlier but it appears to have not been posted??? Can't remember exactly what I had written. Wanted to say thanks again for the molasses cookie recipe - I'll be sure to try it. Also asked if the margarine in your recipe could be substituted with butter and if so would it be salted or unsalted butter? I prefer to use butter in most of my baking but not to worry if it can't. I hope to try these tomorrow so I'll post back with my results.

Also wanted to say that I threw out the rest of my old baking powder - just hate wasting but know it's in baking's best interest to use fresh.
