ROLL COOKIES
"This dough is remarkable for its handling quality. It can be shaped into crusts and dumpling covers as well as into intricate patterns."
1/2 cup white or brown sugar 1/2 cup butter, softened 2 eggs 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons double-acting baking powder 1 teaspoon vanilla
Cream butter and sugar together. Beat in remaining ingredients. Chill dough 3-4 hours before rolling.
When ready to bake: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Roll out cookies, cut into desired shapes, and place on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake 7-12 minutes.
