I have several different cooky presses, and tried to follow the directions of putting it together, and then pressing the cookies on the sheets. I consider myself a very experienced baker, but could not follow the directions with the press. Some recipes call for cold dough, mine called for non refrigerated dough. I failed miserably, and ended rolling them in balls. I also have a battery op cooky shooter, which I used one yr. with success. Can anyone tell me when the dough should be cold and when it should not be. I was embarrassed at my results.
