CHOCOLATE OVEN DOUGHNUTS

"So much easier to make than regular doughnuts! These moist, cake- like treats should be eaten warm for the best chocolate-cocoa flavor."

2 1/3 cups Bisquick baking mix
1/4 cup sugar
3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
Chocolate Glaze (recipe follows)
Nonpareils, if desired

Heat oven to 425 degrees F.

Mix baking mix, sugar, cocoa powder, milk and vanilla in medium bowl until dough forms. Shape into ball; knead 10 times.

Roll dough 1/2-inch thick on surface dusted with baking mix. Cut with 2 1/2-inch doughnut cutter. Place about 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 8 minutes or until set. Cool slightly; glaze. Sprinkle with nonpareils.

CHOCOLATE GLAZE:
Heat 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips and 1 tbsp shortening in heavy 1-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally, until melted.
