SHORT CRACKERS
2 cups flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 cup butter 5 tablespoons milk 1 egg white, slightly beaten Poppy seeds
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Work in butter with finger tips or pastry blender. Add milk and mix thoroughly. Dough will be soft. Divide into half and chill well.
Roll dough on lightly floured surface very thin. Cut into desired shape. Brush with egg white and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet at 400 degrees F for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
