Hi Linda; Here's the one I've been using for years. FUDGE CARAMEL BROWNIES 1 box German chocolate cake mix 3/4 cup melted oleo 1 small can evaporated milk ( 5.33 oz.) 14 oz pkg. light caramels 12 oz pkg. chocolate chips Chopped nuts (optional) Melt caramels with 1/3 cup of the milk, Mix cake mix with the rest of the milk and the melted oleo. Pour 1/2 of the batter into a greased 9x13" pan, bake at 350* for 6-8 minutes. Remove from oven and drizzle melted caramels, chocolate chips and nuts over the cake. Cover with the rest of the cake batter (if too stiff to spread, add 1 Tbsp. milk) Bake at 350* for 25 minutes. |
