Boiled Cookies
1 stick butter or margarine
1/2 c. milk
2 c. sugar
3 T. cocoa
1/2 c. peanut butter
2-1/2 to 3 c. quick-cooking oatmeal
1 t. vanilla
In large saucepan, melt butter with milk. Add sugar and cocoa, bring to boil
and stir. Boil for 2 minutes. Turn off heat and add vanilla and peanut
butter. Stir well and add oatmeal. Drop by spoonsfuls onto waxed paper or
foil. Store when cool.
