This may not be exactly what you want, but I made these
yesterday. They are one of my husband's favorites.
Applesauce/Raisin Bars
l cup flour
2/3 cup brown sugar
l tsp. baking soda
l/2 tsp. salt
l tsp. cinnamon
l cup applesauce
l/4 cup crisco
l egg
l/2 cup raisins
Mix all ingredients (except raisins) in a bowl. Stir in raisins.
Bake in a 7 x ll" baking pan. 350 degrees 20-25 mins.
Topping:
Brown 3 tbl. butter in a small pan. Whisk in l-l/2 cups
powdered sugar, l tsp. vanilla and l Tbl. milk. Frost
cooled cake.
