I'm new to this site and I'm hooked. Just thought I'd share a family favorite. This cake is very moist and the frosting is out-of-this-world. I substitute with fat free sour cream and cool whip to cut calories. Banana Chocolate Cake 1 devil's food cake mix 1/2 cup water 2-3 eggs 1 cup sour cream Beat well. Add 1 cup mashed bananas.(About 3 medium)Pour in 9x13 lightly greased and floured cake pan. Bake @350 degrees for 25 to 30 min. Frosting 1 3 oz.pkg.instant banana pudding mix 1 cup milk 1 8 oz. cool whip Whip until smooth and creamy. Sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired. (I don't) |
