Just to clarify....

with baked goods, if you get a hard crust one the sides, with a little bit of
brown color, you oven is too hot. If you can a crust, that is semi-hard, your
oven is too cold.

An oven thermometer always does the job. I ALWAYS have one in my oven. You
can get a good one from the grocery store !!!
