is a flat "bread", very crisp, rectangular (also comes in wheels or wedge
shapes) with "dimples" in it. It is made from rye or whole wheat flour.
Generally eaten in Sweden and other Northern European countries. It was made
so that it could last through the long winters without spoiling. The famous
open-faced sandwiches are often made on "Knackebrod". It comes in different
densities ranging from light to very heavy fiber content. It sounds as if this
may be what you are looking for. Do you think so? I'm sure I've got some
