Thanks for the information. I was in my local library this afternoon and ounf this recipe in a French cookbook. And it provides a picture of this vanilla slice. IT LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE THE ONE WE LOVE!!! I will try it tomorrow or this coming weekend. Thanks a lot. If it turns out well, I will post the rec. to this board.
