Recipe(tried): Chocolate Scotch Pie

This is a surprise pie - separates into two layers as it bakes. Serve in small pieces, as it is Very Rich!

1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1/4 cup butter
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. butter flavoring (optional)
1/2 tsp. chocolate extract (optional)
1 sq.(1 oz.) unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
1/2 cup milk
1 pastry shell
Whipped Cream

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs; one at a time, beat at low speed until just combined. Add chocolate, milk and flavorings. (Mixture will look slightly curddled) Turn into unbaked pie shell. Bake 40 min. at 350 until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool and chill. Top with whipped cream.
