I bake from scratch, and it frustrates me to have to purchase Oreo cookies for use in recipes. I have make the copy-cat version (using a cake mix). It is great fr eating (especially with cream cheese filling) but what I need is some kind of chocolate wafer cookie to crush. I have tried a few shortbread style recipes, but they are too rich to be turned into crumbs for crust. Any ideas? Happy baking, Jill.
