I I have tried various combinations of these with no luck. I am not sure which 2 should be used, maybe someown out there can help me. Anyway, here is the recipe:
l c. brn sugar
l c. shortening'
l c. granulater sugar
3 eggs
1 t. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. soda(?)
1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar (?)or
baking powder ( I am not sure which two of these it should use and how much?) Help please!!!
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup milk 1 1/2 c. nuts

bake in 9x13 pan about 40 min? or 2 pans 30 min.

at 350 deg.

Hope this helps and hopefully someone will have an answer. Thanks so much1 Barb
