Hi Yong,

++++I have not seen Ovalette or SP in the USA. In fact, there are many ingredients that I used in the S'pore and that I can't seem to locate here. So, I stock up when I go home!

++++Oh, do you have a source for pastry margarine in the USA?
>>>>>i haven't seen it around at all. Anyway, i told myself that it's a good thing too coz it's really unhealthy (hard margarine). Do you find the butter here not as fragrant as the European butter? I can't seem to make my Kueh Lapis taste the same as when I made it at home. I think i read that the European butter that we're used too is made differently from the American butter. The former uses a culture to make it. I sure miss the Lurpak butter.
