Here is the recipe I've been using for years...
EASY PECAN PIE
3 eggs, slightly beaten 1 cup light corn syrup (the clear kind) 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1 T. butter or margarine 1/8 t. salt 1 cup pecan halves (3oz. can) 1/2 t. vanilla extract
Mix all ingredients together until well blended, pour into an uncooked pie crust and bake in a 375 oven until center is set, about 30 - 35 minutes. Place on a cookie sheet during baking. Cool and serve.
