Does anyone have any good recipes for either lemon or chocolate cream pies?
A good friend of our family's (my sister's boyfriend's mother) has cancer, and she's too weak from the chemo and radiation to do much of anything right now, so I've been baking treats for her. She mentioned to my sister that her grandmother made the best cream pies, both chocolate and lemon (but she's partial to chocolate), but she never wrote down the recipes--they were in her head. I would love to bake her something that would cheer her up and remind her of her grandmother.
