I am so very glad I was able to help. I use that site a lot, but wasn't sure if it had anything on Native American food. So I checked and found that indeed it had what you wanted.
I know how you feel not being able to do the cooking. I had back surgery myself several years ago and my Hubby and teenage daughters did the grocery shopping and cooking for awhile.
It is not easy for an avid cook to have to depend on others to cook for them, not to mention the mess they make of your kitchen.
Are you in Germany because your Husband is in the military? We were in the Air Force for quite a few years, but never had an overseas assignment.
My Hubby did get to Germany for his two week active duty tours when he was in the National Guard and Reserves, but wives were not invited along.
What part of Germany are you in?
