To fill between two or three 8" layers, or
between a split 10" layer, or to top a 9 x 13:
In a small pan, heat 1/2 c.strawberry jam til
melted, and set aside.
1 pint fresh berries:strawberries, raspberries,whatever you like,
pick through, do not immerse in water.
If using strawberries, remove stems.
Make one package Jell-O vanilla pudding**
Add 3 oz pkg. softened cream cheese*(Philadelphia)
Blend the cream cheese into the pudding.
Add one small container Cool-Whip to pudding,
blend gently, then carefully add:
Mixture of berries and melted jam :
don't mix totally, just swirl.
Chill this about 2 hrs. When your cake is completely cool,use to fill between layers, or top a 9 x 13 cake in the pan.
Refrigerate. Servings will vary in number.
