Hi Connie; This is from an old German cookbook. RINDSGULASCH (Beef Goulash) 1 pound stewing beef, cubed 2 Tbsp. fat 2 or 3 onions, sliced 1/2 tsp. salt 1 Tbsp. paprika 2 Tbsp. flour 16 oz. can of tomatoes, sieved 1 cup beef broth 1/2 cup sour cream Saute the meat in fat until browned. Add the onions, salt and paprika. Cover tightly, simmer 1 hour over lowest heat. sir in flour, brown lightly, then add the tomatoes and beef broth. Simmer uncovered one hour longer. Turn off heat, stir in sour cream. Serve with egg noodles. Makes 3 servings.
