WATERGRUEL
50 g barley 6 dl water lemon peel or cinnamon stick 60 g currents 60 g raisins 80 - 100 g sugar 3 dl fruit juice (berry juice)
Cook the barley.
Add the lemon peel, or cinnamon stick, with the currants and raisins.
Stir every so often while bringing it to a boil until the barley is cooked. (about an hour)or 20 min in a pressure cooker.
Finally add the sugar and the fruitjuice, remove the lemon peel or cinnamon stick.
This dessert can be served warm or cold.
