I make this recipe for almost every get together. It is always requested and I am told it is better than Casa's.
SWEET CORN CAKE
1 box of Jiffy cornbread mix
1 stick (1.2 cup) butter
1 cup sugar
1 can cream style corn
1 egg
Mix all ingredients together saving a little of the sugar to sprinkle on top.
Bake until light brown on top at 350 degrees F.
The consistancy is supposed to be mushy so don't try to keep baking until it hardens. Enjoy!!! |
