Hello, I just noticed your request for a pot roast with coffee. I have one I
have been meaning to try from an Amish cookbook. Here goes:

Pot Roast
---------
3 pounds swiss steak, trimmed of fat
1 Tblsp veg. oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 cup coffee
2 bay leaves, crumbled
1 garlic clove, finely minced
1/2 teas. dried oregano
2 onions, sliced
Additional coffee and soy sauce as needed

Preheat oven to 300 F. Do not pound or flour meat. Heat oil in heavy skillet
over high heat and sear meat on both sides. Meanwhile in a large roasting pan
combine soy sauce, coffee, bay leaves, garlic, oregano and one of the onions.
Place browned meat on top. Top with second onion. Cover and bake 3 1/2 to 4
hours, basting every hour with pan juices. If liquid begins to boil away, add
another cup of coffee and a liberal splash of soy sauce. There should be quite
a bit of liquid always. Cut the meat in thin slices and serve with pan juices.
