Sorry Meg I don't have this recipe, but I will search in my books and see if I can find it. I only have this recipe. I don't have the series only the Mexican Round the World Cookbook.
MAZURKAS:
1 cup sweet unsalted butter 3/4 cup eggs, beaten 2 cup ground blanched almonds 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour. 1 cup sugar
1. Cream butter and eggs until fluffy.
2. Mix almonds, flour, and sugar. Add flour mixture, a small amount at a time, to the butter mixture. Beat or knead after each addition.
3. Pat or roll out dough in a greased 15x10x1-inch jelly-roll pan.
4. Bake at 350 degrees F. about 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
5. Spread jam over top. Cool for 5 minutes. Cut into 2-inch squares to serve.
