I tried to convert the metric amounts to ounces in the Cantuccini recipe we learned to make from Fiorella in Tuscany. Either I was doing the conversion wrong or I wrote down the wrong amounts to begin with. I came up with 3 oz. of butter and I know that's not right. I looked on the internet for a Cantuccini recipe because I had my heart (and mouth) set on making some today. This recipe contains no butter, but I decided to give it a try. It's wonderful along with being pretty easy to make. Made the house smell wonderful and DH can't wait to get home to try some! Wanted to share it with all of you, Happy 4th! Cantuccini: Classic Tuscan BiscottiNotes: I just sprayed my heavy cookie sheet with Pam, I didn't bother to line it with parchment or foil and it worked fine. DH says they are better than store-bought biscotti!
