Sarah, I made these brownie bars to take to a pitch in at work, so I couldn't eat the whole pan. Can it be made lighter? It includes 2 large bananas, 2 sticks butter, 2 eggs, 1 1/4c white sugar,1 1/4 c brown sugar,2 c flour,2 tsp vanilla, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 T baking powder, 2 cups chocolate chips, 1 c quick oats,1 c toasted pecans. I left out the pecans because I can't eat nuts. I loved the flavor, but I would like to make these again but in a lighter way. Can I substitute applesauce or plain yogurt? Thanks.
