Hi Catie,

Here's a similar recipe in case you can't find the exact recipe. I also ran across a version that didn't use eggs at all - just the cake mix and pears.

Happy Baking!

This is Dobie's recipe.

1 (16 oz) can of pear halves, in syrup (undrained)
1 pkg cake mix (yellow or white)
3 eggs
Whipped cream(can use light or FF)

Combine pears and syrup, cake mix, eggs in a mixing bowl. Blend at low speed until ingredients are moistened. Beat about 3 minutes on medium speed.

Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch greased pan (I used pam spray) Bake at 350 35-40 min or until tooth pick comes out clean. Serve warm with whipped cream on top!

I made this last night, it was so good and so easy, no oil! It was a hit and so easy to whip up quickly! You could use egg beaters too if you want! But the pear juice takes the place of the oil or margarine you would normally use! I am keeping this one! Oh yeah and I used the yellow cake mix for mine!
