A quick and easy dinner I make is I take ether a tortillas or a pita pocket (split into two flat pieces) and a can or bottle of pizza sauce.
Spread the pizza sauce onto the pita. Add some low fat grated cheese. Top with (I use veggie pepperoni as normal pepperoni is too fatty.)
Add any other toppings you'd like. Peppers, mushrooms, whatever you have in the fridge. Ham, pineapple, etc.
I have a toaster oven, put it on a baking sheet at 350 degrees F and bake until cheese melts and "crust" is nice an crispy or how you like it.
Quick and Easy. The kids will love it and they will eat it if they make their own pizza. (put their own toppings on.) |
