SUGAR FREE PIZZELLES
"These are good and you wouldn't know they were sugar free. Try convincing your friends of it."
1 3/4 cups flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 3/4 cup Splenda 3 Eggland Eggs 1 tablespoon anise extract 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted Tools needed: Kitchenaid Mixer, and Pizzelle iron/press
Stir flour and baking powder together; set aside.
Mix Splenda and eggs together with electric mixer on low speed Add in anise extract and butter. Slowly add in the flour mixture.
Preheat pizzelle iron/press follow manufactures instructions and bake the cookies.
Makes about 12-14 cookies depending on how many teaspoons you put on the iron.
YUMMY --- I also add sugar free sweetener sometimes or extra vanilla or anise and slivered almonds and amaretto....the list goes on..... : )
