I am trying to add more healthful foods to my diet and, as a part of this effort, I have begun to use brown rice. Maybe I should say tried to use brown rice. The problem is... I hate it. It is coarse and chewy and most times I prepare it, it looks more like barley than rice. I have tried it sauteed first in a bit of olive oil before cooking with no luck. I would appreciate ANY ideas for making brown rice delicious to a white rice girl.
