I went food shopping today and in the freezer section I came upon GREEN GIANT "Prebrowned All Vegetable Protein Crumbs" called Harvest Burgers for Recipes. Fat free and 0 cholesterol. It comes in a 12 ounce bag the way some frozen veggies do and it suggests using "instead of beef" for tacos, chili, and in spaghetti sauce. This 12 ounces of vegetable protein crumbs goes as far as 1 1/2 lb. ground beef in recipes. Looks as if this has many possibilities for vegetarian dishes!
