I am surprized no one has responded to this question?
Traditional White Bread (1 pound)
2/3 cup water
2 teaspoons margarine or butter, softened
2 cups Bread flour or Regular Flour
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons dry milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 teaspoons regular active dry yeast
OR
1 1/4 teaspoons bread machine yeast or
quick-acting active dry yeast

Basic White Bread (1 1/2 Pound)

1 1/4 cups Water
2 tablespoons skim milk powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons shortening
3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon yeast
