Hi Gina,
I love "clipping" your recipes. You like cooking the same type of things that I do so I feel comfortable with your recipes. With regard to your bacon & dates recipe--try slipping a blanched almond into the center of the date. The contrast of crunchy and soft is nice. Also, I found that a LITTLE sprinkling of cheyenne pepper over the top of the bacon enhances the flavor.
