I've printed this soup recipe to save for when we finally get some cool weather here (I'm in South Florida, so I've got a while to go!). Would you please post your bread recipe - that sounds delicious too. In fact, all of the recipes you've posted sound wonderful.

Forgot to mention under the book post that I loved "The Horse Whisperer" and am looking forward to seeing the movie with Robert Redford. Generally I find that I like the books rather than their movie adaptations though.

I don't know where you are in South Africa but I hope the "Planet Hollywood" bombing has not directly affected you. Such terrible things that go on in our world.
