Recipe(tried): My husband is just the same Margo!

Menus

Hi Margo!

I finally got back on line (spent the past week moving and no puter!!!) and read thru the recipes posted for you. While i am drooling at the sound of all of them, my dh hates sweet stuff like yours. This is one of his favorite baked chop dishes, maybe your dh will like the sound of it too.

Pork Chops in a Bag

1 can (14 oz) stewed tomatoes
1/2 pkg (or more to taste) Lipton Onion Soup mix
4 center loin pork chops, trimmed

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Prepare small oven cooking bag according to directions by shaking flour in it. Pour can of tomatoes into bag and add soup mix. Combine tomatoes and soup by squishing bag together (my 7 yr old loves to "help" by doing this part). Add chops to bag, turning them around in bag to cover with tomato mixture. Arrange bag in 13 x 9 pan and bake approximately 30 minutes .

This makes a nice sauce that is nice over rice or noodles. Enjoy!
