Hi everyone!

I'd like to share a quick yet elegant pasta dish that I make for my family
when I'm short on time. And I sometimes serve it to company too!
I take a jar of tomato-alfredo sauce (sort of a cream based-tomato sauce) and to it I add about 1/2 cup (or more) of fresh chopped tomatoes. If you're still lucky enough to have those wonderful garden fresh ripe tomatoes they work great. Otherwise ripe plum tomatoes work well. Simmer this mixture a couple of minutes. I serve it over penne or bow ties with some chopped basil or parsley on top and grated Parm. cheese.
