Thanks Julie - you're fortunate to have those flavored condensed milks. I've never thoroughly looked thru the flavorings/essence bottles to see if we have caramel - don't recall seeing that either, but would butterscotch flavoring work? I've seen that. How strong is the flavor in the milk? I guess I'd just have to experiment and taste!
